Get a "Death Grip" on that gun! It all started when Nils Jonasson (pro shooter for Canik) asked us to increase the amount of checkering on his TF backstrap. He likes to maintain a "death grip" on his pistol, and checkering helps lock the gun in his hand. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
TF's "Death Grip" has checkering spanning the entire gripping surface. Compared to competing models, the Death Grip has more checkering in contact with your hand plus a high level of weight, thus more of the control-enhancing features you want! Weight and felt recoil are directly related. By adding weight a lightweight gun calms down, creating a smoother-shooting, slower-kicking, more-neutrally-balanced handgun.
Brass is best in most situations, but if you're carrying the gun around all day, you might want aluminum instead.
- Machined from bar stock H02 Brass or 6061 aluminum
- Ridiculous volumes of high-traction checkering CUT into each piece (not cast) for maximum "grip" and control
- Lowers the center of gravity (better balance, calmer handling, less top-heavy)

HK VP9 A1 K DEATH GRIP BACKSTRAP - BRASS - BLACK
Impressive precision fit and finish that adds a qualitative difference in balance and shootablity. Adding in the black cerakote black side panels, my VP9A1 K loaded with 11 rounds and equipped with optic and WML now weighs in at 2lbs 7oz. For comparison, my similarly sized Sig-Sauer P229 Enhanced Elite with an aluminum alloy frame weighs 2lbs 2.79oz. I unreservedly recommend this premium upgrade!
