Solid brass "backstrap" grip panel for the Canik MC9L, MC9LS, and Canik MC9 Prime.

Adding weight via a brass backstrap calms the gun down, creating a smoother-shooting, softer-kicking, more-neutrally-balanced handgun. Adding weight to the frame also reduces the tendency toward "weak wrist" malfunctions common to all polymer frame handguns.
This manifests itself most often when shooting weak-hand-only. Extra mass gives the frame a greater resistance to being pushed rearward in recoil -- helping ensure reliable cycling when the shooter can't supply full resistance due to weakness, poor form, or a too-low grip. The metal backstrap concept descends directly from our famous "Seattle Slug" magazine guide for the Glock. That concept worked so well, it was eventually banned BY NAME in both USPSA and IDPA.

Awesome product
Made the recoil feel more manageable and follow up shots felt faster/more accurate due to less of a feeling of the gun flipping over the hand. Now it feels like it recoils into my hand and balances it perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone looking to add some heft to the lower frame of your pistol.

Brass backstrap Canik Prime
This is my 3rd brass backstrap from TF. I have them on a Walther PPQ and PDP F. They change the whole dynamic of the way the gun handles and shoots. I decided to put it on the Canik Prime for the same reason. It also gives the grip a more premium feel considering Canik's polymer seems slightly less quality compared to other polymer pistols. Get one, you won't regret it.
