Stabilize your Walther F-Series!
Adding a metallic backstrap adds weight to the lower part of the frame. That weight counteracts the "top-heavy" feel of polymer autos, and calms perceived recoil. In our experience metal backstraps improve the "feel" of the gun -- especially when speed reloading. A polymer gun with a metal backstrap rolls sideways slower and more predictably -- and doesn't feel like it's trying to fall out of your hand.

PDP backstrap
Fit and finish are excellent. This is my second backstrap from them. It really improves the feel and handling of the gun. I highly recommend Taylor Freelance. The customer service was excellent as well. They were very helpful in answering questions I had.

Makes a noticeable difference in weight & feel
I got a PDP-F for my wife because she has trouble racking slides. And every pistol gets more "poppy" as you decrease overall mass. So a brass backplate was the first upgrade, and this product hits the mark. It adds 83 grams to the overall weight, which may not sound like much, but it changes the overall "feel" by adding more weight to the bottom/back, which makes the PDP-F feel less top-heavy and improves recoil mitigation. It won't turn you into a competition shooter overnight, but it will definitely help you get back on target more quickly.

F-Pro Backstrap
I was really excited to see these as LokGrips is always out of stock and I had thought only they made a backstrap for the new F-Pro series. It fit very well but on my example a very small amount of material had to be removed from the factory magwell as it would have been pushed forward out away from the frame resulting in play otherwise. Took about 30 minutes to correct and now it's tighter than factory. Totally tranforms the overall feel and locks the pistol into the palm. Really worth it!! Looks perfect too.

Compatibility with Magwell
I ordered LOK Grips Black Brass PDP-F Magwell with their Black Brass +0 mag extensions. Their Black Brass Backstrap was unavailable. I ordered this Black Backstrap from TF and the fit is perfect. Really balances out a lightweight but slightly top heavy gun
