    Product Description

    Rock Island users have asked us for a custom basepad to match our "Fattie" magwell ever since we brought it out. This is that basepad. (Also works on Para-Ordnance P-16 and P-18.)

    • +4 capacity in 9mm or .38 Super (+2+ in .40 or 10mm) for 21+1 and sometimes 22+1 performance!
    • Can be used on a .45 -- just remove the plastic insert, or trim the "legs" of the insert.
    • Legal for USPSA, 3-Gun competition (meets the 140mm rule)
    • Works with TF "Fattie" magwell and RIA factory magwell.
    • Uses the stock spring.
    • Includes modified Arredondo Accessories insert for jam-free function beyond 18 rounds

    Note: Works with Mec-Gar Para mags, and with Rock Island mags. HOWEVER, Rock Island recently started offering magazines that are slightly longer than prior generations (notably in .40). If you are shooting USPSA events, be sure to measure your assembled mags to be sure they fit the USPSA gauge!

      Took minutes to install 3 baseplates on Mecgar P18 magazines. With 21 rounds in mag, gun had to be open to insert mag. But no feeding issues, very pleased with my purchase.

      Gotta say I’m surprised that these gave me +3 on my stock P14 mags. Now my max cap per mag is 17rds from 14rds. I cut the inserts out and just left the bottom so there’s a cover beneath the hole of the mag extension. Kinda misfeeds the 2nd round, but probably just need break-in. Overall great item.

      Topnotch quality and finish. A little bit of an updated design on the front when compared to the ones I bought a year or two ago. Definitely will buy again.

      Shipped fast, very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The only problem I’m having is now my last round mag catch isn’t working after installing these. Might try taking the liners out of these base pads to see if that helps. RIA Pro Match Ultra FS HC - 17rd

      Installed easily and worked perfectly. Just what I needed for the Fattie magwell. (Would like it more in blue!)
