AT LAST! Taylor Freelance offers a purpose-built “snap-on” magwell for the new HK VP9 A1 series.
Meaningfully wider and deeper than the already-generous factory magwell, this one offers the ease of reloading you want, without excess bulk.
Why do we call it a “snap-on?” To install it, hook the magwell over the front of the frame, then gently pull the back end up. With a little pressure, the frame will flex, letting the magwell “snap on” without any tools.
- Legal for most pistol games that allow magwells (even IDPA)
- Center cutaway allows you to seat factory mags, AND pull mags free if one gets stuck
- Works with ALL backstrap sizes: small, medium, AND large.

IMPORTANT: The magwell is much harder to take off than it is to put on – and pulling it off manually risks scratching the soft polymer frame. To remove the magwell, push the roll pin out instead.
NOTE: Other basepad brands may/may not fit (XTECH and Tyrant CNC in particular).
