Was disappointed I had to choose between my TF brass backplate and my magwell. But because I couldn't get my magwell so fit without a gap I opted to just leave my current TF brass backplate and go without the magwell. Disappointing kit still love my TF products for my Caniks

Where to begin... When CANiK was first recommended to me as a new purchase I took to the internet to do my research. One of the first pictures that popped up was the TP9SFx with a Taylor Freelance backstrap and magwell on it, and from that point I WAS HOOKED. I now own several CANiK models and when I decided to build my SFx, I knew exactly what I was looking for. The tungsten matches the factory finish perfectly, installation is simple and straightforward, the fit and finish are phenomenal, I really cannot say enough good things about TF products.

Easy to install, great product!
Very pleased with this magwell. The install is very straight forward and quick. For those concerned about a gap issue - when you install this, back out the screw just far enough to were there is no play in the fitment. If you back it out unnecessarily far it will create a noticeable gap. Take your time - slowly back out the screw while checking the fit as you do so. As soon as there is no play, stop. Shouldn't be a gap beyond what is pictured. This is a high quality product. Finish on this matches up extremely well on my tp9sfx. I've had nothing but great experiences with TF and will be coming back for more!!

A bit of a gap
On my particular sample, where the set screw goes into the pocket on the magwell, it kicks out a good bit. Pretty good gap between the magwell and the frame. Not the end of the world, still functions well and holds in place well. And works well with plus 4 basepads. Just asthetically a real bummer about the gap. I may just give the canik brand one a shot. Or just live with it. Robin was polite and reached out to me pretty darn quickly. He thinks id get the same results with a new one and i take his word for it. He deals with thousands of them. But overall i like their products and their customer service is awesome. Ill remain a customer without a doubt, i just got unlucky with this particular part.
