    Nils Jonasson (pro shooter for Canik) asked us to increase the amount of checkering on his TF backstrap. He likes to maintain a "death grip" on his pistol, and checkering helps lock the gun in his hand. 
     
    CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! 
     
    TF's "Death Grip" has checkering spanning the entire gripping surface. Once we'd covered everything with checkering, we backed up, removed the factory-pattern "scallops" on the sides and extended the available gripping surface even more!
     
    Compared to any competing model with scalloped sides, the Death Grip has more checkering in contact with your hand, more total weight, and thus more of the control-enhancing features you want!
     
    Weight and felt recoil are directly related. By adding weight the gun calms down, creating a smoother-shooting, slower-kicking, more-neutrally-balanced handgun. Brass is best in most situations, but if you're carrying the gun around all day, you might want aluminum instead.
     
    • Machined from bar stock H02 Brass or 6061 aluminum
    • Ridiculous volumes of high-traction checkering CUT into each piece (not cast) for maximum "grip" and control
    • Built-in mount points for factory, TF magwells
    • Lowers the center of gravity (better balance, calmer handling, less top-heavy)

      The Canik TTI Combat is an incredible handgun out of the box, but where I personally felt it fell short was the backstrap grip texture. It was so extremely coarse that it felt like it was cutting up your hand when you held it, let alone shot it. I did a search and quickly came across TF products and I’m so incredibly satisfied with my purchase. Not only does this new backstrap look better being black, imo, but is weighted perfectly to balance the gun, and is the perfect texture with plenty of grip without being uncomfortable like the original. TF has way more than you’d expect for an array of manufacturers and models, I know I’ll be purchasing a lot more products in the near future.

      Fit and finish are perfect,the screw is kinda scary you don’t want to use to much force because it will snap

      Canik TTI death grip back strap

      By far the best upgrade for the Canik TTI combat. Fit and finish is perfect, the weight of the brass back strap makes this gun shoot flat and really helps mitigate the recoil. I already have another on order for my other Canik pistol

      Highly recommend getting the Death grip backstraps. The texture is aggressive without digging in too much. Super easy install.

      Installed on Canik SFX -rival. Simple to install and added the additional weight which does feel to reduce recoil and makes grip give you a more secure grip

      I'm actually surprised at the amount of grip on this thing. Push your paw up on it and it locks in place. I got the black but having it cerakoted to match the rest of my Canik Rival SFX. Install was easy and man, is it heavy. Should help tame some of the recoil impulse. Overall very satisfied.

      High quality. Feels good in the hand and gives me more grip. Also it balances the weight better on my Rival. Doesn't feel as top heavy, which is a big plus!

      This back strap is a game changer. The added weight is just what I needed. It looks great and fits amazingly. The grip texture is perfect. It also just looks great on the pistol. Shot a match recently with this and it was everything I hoped for. Highly recommend. Very easy install.
