- Front face angled slightly “forward” to create a gentle “pinky hook” effect. (The factory “pinky hook” is not “hooked” at all. A slight hook adds control, especially during the draw.)
- Aluminum models optimal for daily carry as well as IDPA-style competitions
- Brass models slow felt recoil, lower your pistol's balance point, and help the mag drop clear. (Brass is always advantageous, and usually legal in competition, but read your local rules carefully.)
Like all our +0 basepads, our MC9 +0 has many subtle features baked in. The "nose" of the basepad is short (making it easier to handle when reloading and less prone to snagging), the basepad itself is thicker (for positive seating and more control), and traction-enhancing patterns cover almost every surface. The row of dots on the bottom is used to identify your magazines, so you can easily keep track of which one is which.
Includes a 3D-printed locking plate for use if your magazine did not come with a flat locking plate (Canik extended mags have L-shaped locking plates). Where possible, use the factory locking plate.
