Pretty good but not perfect
Purchased this magwell for my PPQ, finish is good. Fits on the grip good. Needs a bit of transition filing for perfect. The polymer creates a step that mags kept hanging on. About 10 minutes of sanding and it was good. -- Hey Jake, be careful not to overdo the sanding. The Walther needs a bit of a lip to catch the basepad -- otherwise it can over-penetrate and potentially damage the ejector.

Overdrive magwell
Makes my grip on the Q5 more secure. Would have been nice to know in advance that the o e m 10 rd mags wouldn’t fit without their basepad. But, turns out the canik tp9 mags fit fine since they are a bit longer than the Q5’s. ----- Thanks for the feedback Mike! Didn't know that about the Canik mags. Will share with others -- Robin Taylor

Overdrive Magwell Walther Q5 Match SF
I have had a TF Overdrive Magwell (And +6 base plates) on my Q5 polymer for a couple of years and it has always been great. I just purchased the Q5 SF and went with Taylor Freelance again rather than Walther magwell. However; this time the magwell did not fit nearly as well. It fits loose enough that I can easily hear it rattling against the gun handle. Since I already have six mags with TF +6 magazine extension plates I wanted this to work so I too double sided tape and put it between the magwell and gun handle, similar to how you would use a a gasket. That took up the slack and it works great. The magwell now fits tight, the tape is not visible at all and no more rattle. ------------ Hey Edward, this is a well-known issue with the SF guns. We make a hand-fittable version just for the SF to eliminate that problem. If you want to change yours out for the hand-fit model, just say the word! -- RT

Would've been nice with some instructions.
Other than having to browse the internet to find instructions on actually installing this product as nothing was provided on shipment, the product is great once I figured it out. ------------- Good point! We'll look into fixing that.
