Product Description
Get a "Death Grip" on that gun!
It all started when Nils Jonasson (pro shooter for Canik) asked us to increase the amount of checkering on his TF backstrap. He likes to maintain a "death grip" on his pistol, and checkering helps lock the gun in his hand.
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
TF's "Death Grip" has checkering spanning the entire gripping surface. Compared to competing models, the Death Grip has more checkering in contact with your hand plus a high level of weight, thus more of the control-enhancing features you want!
Weight and felt recoil are directly related. By adding weight a lightweight gun calms down, creating a smoother-shooting, slower-kicking, more-neutrally-balanced handgun. Brass is best in most situations, but if you're carrying the gun around all day, you might want aluminum instead.
Machined from bar stock H02 Brass or 6061 aluminum
Ridiculous volumes of high-traction checkering CUT into each piece (not cast) for maximum "grip" and control
Built-in mount point for factory and TF magwells (typical "tailhook" style)
Lowers the center of gravity (better balance, calmer handling, less top-heavy)
Weight: 2.5 ounces
Material: Brass
Color: Black

Walther pdp compact 4”
Perfect fit to my pdp compact 4”. Awesome upgrade. Made my pdp well balanced and the texture is just exceptional. Its a must to have this

High quality, easy install, effective
The TF brass back strap I ordered for my Walter PDP compact was as good as described in the marketing on their website. It was very easy to install—took all of 5 minutes—and most of that was me having to dig through my tool drawer for the right pin driver for the Walther’s back strap. Once installed, the brass back trap added just enough weight to the back of the gun to make my PDP with its 5” barrel feel more balanced in my hands. I’m not quite sure if it helped with the recoil or if it was just a placebo effect from a better feeling handgrip, but when I took my Walther to the range after the back strap installation, I was able to shoot smaller groups than before…

TF PDP Brass Death Grip Backstrap
The backstrap is very well machined and grippy but not overly aggressive on the texture. The backstrap is similar to the Whalter PDP small backstrap. The only downside is that the swells on the grip are not flush with the backstrap but this is very minor.

Deathgrips
I really like the stock backstraps that come with the Walther PDP, the hump fits my hand perfectly.. But I wanted to add some weight to possibly help with muzzle flip, so I chose the deathgrips from Taylor Freelance.. They added the weight I was looking for, and the texture is aggressive but not so aggressive it rubs your skin off, I'd say it's the perfect texture.. As far as the size, they aren't the small size backstraps and they aren't the medium, they're somewhere in between, Iwas worried about that at first and thought they weren't gonna work for me because I have larger hands, but surprisingly they feel better and my grip is much improved and I can see a difference at the range.. I highly recommend Taylor freelance products, they're quality and u can tell their products are designed with data gathered by shooters
