The TF magwell for the PDP offers a sleek, cost-effective way to get the most out of your pistol. You can run this by itself for all the reasons listed above, or combine it with a TF metal backstrap. Few modifications NOTICEABLY change the way a gun feels/acts -- a brass backstrap with either an aluminum or brass magwell is one of those few.
We strongly suggest using extended basepads when using a magwell (any magwell). Extended pads let you push the mag in and KNOW that it's fully seated. Factory (flat) basepads will tend to disappear up inside the magwell's funnel, making them difficult to seat, and even harder to remove if the magazine gets stuck.

Required fitting
Overall satisfied with the product, shipment and presentation. Needed to modify the hook by removing material to allow the roll pin to fit. For clarification I have a Lok brass backstrap so that could be a factor in the fitment. I tried calling the phone number for some customer service but no one answered. I decided to not waste time in filling out a contact request as previous experience has shown that those are rarely answered. I will be purchasing future items as I will draft this fitment issues as an isolated issue. Note: Reaching out via email is the fastest way to get help.

Fits IDPA box
Easy to install, good fit and finish, and I verified it fits the IDPA box with my 5 inch poly PDP and TF +0 basepads.

Great Magwell for PDP
Just got mine, took a bit to install it over the factory backstrap. I had to trim the flange below where the hook rests in order to get enough clearance for it to snap on to grip front. Not a big deal, once I remove enough material it snapped right on and was good to go.

Walther pdp magwell
I really like the product. Very well made and looks great! Only one issue i haven't been able to resolve. The stock magazines that came stock with the PDP wont lock into place with the magwell installed. I removed it and trying to find a solution.

Walther PDP Full-Size Magwell - Alum - Black
Taylor’s flared magwell is a great product allowing for easy no-look mag loading. On my standard PDP it did require minor slotting of the lower back strap to allow the hook to seat all the way in. Works great with Taylor’s +3 mag extension. I recommend this quality Taylor product.
