Stabilize your full-size Walther PDP!
Adding a brass backstrap adds weight to the lower part of the frame. That weight counteracts the "top-heavy" feel of polymer autos, and calms perceived recoil. In our experience heavy backstraps also improve the "feel" of the gun -- especially when speed reloading.
The pistol rolls into position smoother and more predictably -- and doesn't feel like it's trying to flip out of your hand.

Game Changer for Shooters with Joint Issues
I just used my PDP Pro-E for the first time at the range with this brass backstrap, and the difference was night and day. I have chronic shoulder and bilateral elbow issues (partial tears that never healed well), and my joints fatigue easily. Without the backstrap, the PDP felt noticeably more front-heavy than my compact carry gun. At my last shooter’s club meet, I had to wear elbow braces and take frequent breaks. I found myself gripping harder to manage the weight, and I was frequently pulling shots low-left. With the brass backstrap installed, I didn't need braces at all. The added weight balances the pistol much better, making it feel more stable and controllable throughout the trigger press and recoil cycle. My shoulder and elbows felt significantly better, and I noticed an immediate improvement in my shooting. I rarely leave product reviews, but as a small business that clearly cares about making quality parts, Taylor Freelance deserves the praise. If you have joint issues or simply want better balance on your PDP, this backstrap is absolutely worth it. It’s letting me enjoy a full-size pistol again when I thought I might have to stick with compact, lighter-weight firearms. Highly recommend!

Exactly what I needed
This product was the perfect addition to my PDP full Size. It sits that weight perfectly in my hand and I have more control over the muzzle flip. It’s perfectly balanced and passes the 1 finger test.

Added weight helped the feel of the gun. I don’t think the gun is that snappy as some say, but decided to try it out anyways. The added weight helps me run the gun faster. Overall great purchase and I would recommend.

Perfect upgrade for my PDP PRO E full size. With the addition of the brass magwell I added a total of 5.5 ounces on the backend. I highly recommend this PDP grip upgrade.
