Product Description
Maximize your Walther PDP's potential!
Taylor Freelance's +3+ for the full-size PDP extends your mags out to the maximum allowed in 3-Gun and USPSA Limited competition -- giving you 21+1 instead of the stock 18.
- Quick-release locking plate gives a balance of retention and easy cleaning
- CNC machined from bar stock
- +3+ capacity (most people get +4)
- Fits the full-size 18-round mag (not the compact)
- NOTE: DO NOT use 18-round mags in Compact PDPs without a protective "overpenetration collar." Doing so risks damage to the ejector.
Weight: 1.25 ounces
Material: Aluminum
Color: Blue
NOTE: New version fits the Walther PDP "PRO" magwell. We have some of the older model still in stock, so please leave us a note in the "special instructions" at checkout if you need yours to fit the PRO.
STEEL FRAME CAUTION: These parts were designed for the full-size polymer-frame PDP. If you have a full-size steel frame PDP, we strongly suggest using the Taylor Freelance magwell. Without it, this basepad will allow the magazine to over-penetrate, potentially impacting the ejector during a slide-locked-back reload. Damage to the ejector may result.
IMPORTANT: The Walther PDP and the Walther PDP COMPACT use DIFFERENT magazines. The PDP compact uses Walther PPQ magazines (if you need those, look in the PPQ section of our store!).
NOTE: Due to state department restrictions we cannot ship this part internationally.

Walther PDP 140MM +3 Mag Extension
The mag extensions are great. I got them very recently and have a couple of range trips and a USPSA match just this morning. Prior to buying, I saw other reviewers comment on getting +4 for a total of 22 in the full size Walther PDP. While I've found that 22nd round can be crammed in with the assistance of a loading device (e.g. Maglula, etc), the pistol can't function properly. Here's what I mean. I've noted when racking the slide on the mag with 22, it takes extra force to move the slide. And it takes an extra strong insertion (hammer it with your palm) to the mag inserted if the action is closed. I should have taken that as a clue but didn't. So at the match this morning I tried to run 22 in the magazine +1 in the chamber. But the slide didn't fully cycle on the first shot and jammed due to the force of a 22nd round being crammed in and the extra drag on the slide. So I wanted to let others know that while you can force 22 into the magazine, it can create issues with the slide movement and cause a jam. Thanks TF.

Bought the PDP SD Pro not knowing the regular factor base plates wouldn't work. Rea he'd out the walther and was directed to Taylor freelance. Got them, shipping was quick, they work flawlessly, and they add a great flare. All in all, love them.

A shop probably 150 rds out of it now says +3 I could do +4 so half a box of ammo in one gun is crazy, i have three other mags and my hands down favorite is Taylor freelance extension mag, the balance that come with the extension its makes the gun so much more fun to shoot.
