Product Description
Maximize your Walther PDP's potential!
Taylor Freelance's +3+ for the full-size PDP extends your mags out to the maximum allowed in 3-Gun and USPSA Limited competition -- giving you 21+1 instead of the stock 18.
- Quick-release locking plate gives a balance of retention and easy cleaning
- CNC machined from bar stock
- +3+ capacity (most people get +4)
- Fits the full-size 18-round mag (not the compact)
Weight: 3.5 ounces
Material: Brass
Color: Black-Cerakoted Brass
NOTE: DO NOT use 18-round mags in Compact PDPs without a protective "overpenetration collar." Doing so risks damage to the ejector.
NOTE: New version fits the Walther PDP "PRO" magwell. We have some of the older model still in stock, so please leave us a note in the "special instructions" at checkout if you need yours to fit the PRO.
IMPORTANT: The Walther PDP and the Walther PDP COMPACT use DIFFERENT magazines. The PDP compact uses Walther PPQ magazines (if you need those, look in the PPQ section of our store!).
NOTE: Due to state department restrictions we cannot ship this part internationally.

Pdp mag extension
Great mag extension for the walther pdp. Fantastic fit. Easy to install. I've beat these up pretty bad at shooting competitions and they hold up just fine. The extra weight from the brass allows it to come out very fast and ensures no mags to stick in the gun. Also easy to disassemble if you shoot in sandy ranges.

The mag extension has a slight catch …. You have to slam that sucker in.
The magazine extensions are great. Walther doesn’t have mags for sale for the pdp pro. The mag extension does have a slight catch . You really have to slam that babe home.

Heavy and well made
It's heavy and well made. Lives up to my expectations. However, it needs a strong push to insert the mag into the grip. It won't click if you feed the mag in gently like the factory mag without mag well. You need to push with a bit more force. I'm actually not sure whether it's due to the machining of this basebad or the mag well. What I have is the brass mag well for PDP from TF itself so it should fit perfectly. As what I say in the review of the brass mag well, the mag well doesn't sit all flat and tight on the bottom surface of the grip. It is narrower than the grip just by a tiny bit. So it could be the mag well's problem. I didn't bother to examine under a magnifier to see the problem. I have 2 PDPs, 2 brass mag wells and 5 brass basepads. All the same issue no matter how I mix and match. Anyhow, both basepad and mag well seem well made. Just somewhere some machining isn't quite right.

Doesn’t sit completely straight on the clip, you can only notice if you’re looking close though
It’s got a good weight to it so its for sure droppable. It would be better if it was symmetrical with the gun.though
