The PDP +0 extension adds weight to your magazine allowing for better drop-away performance, while adding the extra length needed to positively seat the magazine in the gun.

STEEL FRAME CAUTION: These parts were designed for the full-size polymer-frame PDP. If you have a full-size steel frame PDP, we strongly suggest using the Taylor Freelance magwell. Without it, this basepad will allow the magazine to over-penetrate, potentially impacting the ejector during a slide-locked-back reload. Damage to the ejector may result.

Very tight fit
Did the “post it note test” as in the video. No rips to the paper but the ejector was touching the snap cap, especially with a full mag. No damage for the first 300 or so rounds, should be good for the future. I run the TF magwell on my 4.5” full size PDP polymer

PIT LIKE A GLOVE!
Was looking for some base plates for the 18-round mag for my PDP Pro, that would work with the factory magwell. Talked to TF and they said they re-milled their PDP base pads and that they would work. They work perfectly. The mag seats and locks perfectly!. Also, the machining and coating is flawless. Great job TF! You have a permanent customer. :)
