Part of the TF "Competition" line, the "Triple Threat" basepad brings the suggestions of countless competitors into one multi-purpose design. - WILL NOT hook another magazine, or snag on your clothing (and come out of the mag pouch) as you move. - Extends the magazine to ensure a positive reload at speed - Provides one ounce of extra weight, helping with recoil control (still legal for IDPA and USPSA matches). - Works with BOTH styles of M&P magazine. (Square- or round-hole.)
NOTE: Works with all known magwells, including the SSS and Carver Custom lines.

Good product
I recently purchased a M&P 9L performance center pistol with a flared mag well. One magazine didn't come with this basepad. Very easy to swap out, and made the mag fit. Doesn't add a lot of weight, but enough that it's a little easier to drop once released. Does not add additional room for ammunition (not a con, just an accurate review). I plan to purchase more magazines and more of these basepads.
