Totally new, the HK VP 9/40 version of our "Overdrive" magwell optimizes what you want in a competition-style magazine funnel. This latest brass version does all that, and adds weight to help balance and recoil control:
- Legal for most pistol games that allow magwells (1 5/8" wide at widest point)
- Milled from solid brass (3X the weight of aluminum!)
- Accepts factory magazines as well as TF +5 and +0 extensions.
- Textured for "grippiness" where you want it, smooth where you don't
- Maximized funnel area
- 3 ounce total weight adds balance, improves recoil control
- Works with the small and medium backstrap. Large backstrap will require fitting.
NOTE: Other basepad brands may not fit (XTECH +5 basepads are too broad-shouldered)
NOTE: According to customers, this part does not work with Tyrant CNC mag extensions.

Shiny Brass Magwell
This Magwell is amazing. I purchased this for the added weight alone but it does more then just balance out my pistol. the contours of the magwell are incredibly comfortable in my grip and the angle of the funnel makes mag changes a breeze. I absolutely love it! Please consider making one for the P30, TF!

Best VP9 magwell on the market
I've tried several magwells from competing companies and this is my favorite by far. TF did a great job cerakoting it for me. The Install took minutes, didn't interfere with my grip even with my large hands. Funnels the mags effectively and worked with my stock and aftermarket mag bases (tyrantcnc). Best part is the additional weight does an amazing job balancing the gun. Faster follow up shots, more accuracy and looks badass to boot

I like mine a lot, adds extra weight which is nice. Will not work with HK parts 30 round extension mag.

HK VP 9 magwell
I wanted a quality magwell for my HK VP 9 for competition. The Taylor Freelance brass magwell is nicely machined and fits nicely with the medium back-strap. However, I use the large back-strap, so I needed to do a little tweaking and remove some material on the back-strap to match the magwell, but that's fine...it fits perfectly now! I wanted the outside to match the pistol, so I used some brass-black and now it does. I like the added weight of the brass vs Aluminum too. I am completely happy with the product.
