Product Description
If you want a full-on competition magwell, the Carver Custom is one of the best. Secured to the gun in two ways, the Carver uses an aluminum, mounting point (basically a miniaturized Seattle Slug) to provide weight where you need it. The aluminum version improves balance and recoil control while making reloads a cinch, but the stainless steel model is our choice for maximum recoil control and durability. The tactical model allows the use of stock magazines and is legal for IDPA competition.
UPSIDES: All "full circle" magwells work like a funnel, guiding the magazine where it needs to go. Using one, it's much easier to reload at maximum speed.
DOWNSIDES: Since this is a "full circle" magwell, it all but requires the use of extended magazines. Without them, it can be difficult to seat the magazine properly, or "rip" a magazine free if it gets stuck for any reason. If you're looking for maximum reload speed, this is your part.

Mag well for G40
Removed the 1/2 mm and it's right I want it.

For me it was not a drop in. Did not listen to the instructions. Wasted tons of time looking for the issue. Then shortened the grip( 80 grit) by 1/2 mm. Snug and forceful. Going to remove 1/2 mm more. I have 3x hands and it doesn't make my hands too big. Does it's job.

Great for IDPA
This magwell fits my Glock 21 perfectly. The quality is very good. It also fits the IDPA CDP box just fine. Shot my first IDPA match with the Glock 21 and this magwell and won the division! Had no issues with reloads and the magwell helps me get a better grip on the gun.

Carver magwell Glock 21
This is the second Carver magwell I own and I love the fit, feel, and look of them. If I had to complain about something it would only be that I would like for the plug to be an ounce or two heavier to help balance out the pistol more, but that’s just for me. Plus I can still use my factory mags if I run out of the plus 4 extended base plates from Taylor. FYI, I do have a threaded barrel so that does make it a bit more nose heavy.

Fit Perfectly
Took 2 minutes to install and fit perfectly on my Glock 41. No gaps or sloppy fit. Using with Taylor Freelance magazine extensions that fit perfectly and did not require any grinding or fitting. I have not confirmed that everything fits in the IDPA box. The grip is good. I was concerned the mounting screw on the back side make the grip awkward. Grip is great and I don’t even notice the screw.
