Product Description
We added a touch of length below the frame and replaced the “cutaway’ grip profile of the Canik SC backstrap with a curving, extended butt. Shooting the SC becomes more comfortable, more natural feeling, and the extra contact area adds control. The built-in mag guide centers your magazine automatically and holds your palm clear of the magwell edges, reducing the tendency to pinch your hand during the reload. Every available space in the backstrap is filled with solid metal (aluminum or brass).
The backstrap adds more than 3.65 ounces in brass, 1.05 ounces in aluminum – dramatically changing the balance of the gun. With either metal, the gun feels calmer and more “neutrally” balanced. That neutral feel (for us) makes the gun easier to draw, easier to handle, and easier to reload. During the draw the smooth butt lets your hand slide into place easily, getting you into a proper firing grip before you clear leather. Once you grip the gun, the checkering along the waist of the backstrap grips you back, locking the gun to your hand.

Does it’s job. Easy install. Only gripe is that my roll pin walked out on me during range session other than that, not too bad. I would recommend it!

CANIK SC BACKSTRAP BRASS - BLACK
Just installed the backstrap and right away could tell a diffrence. Not only does it make the grip more comfortable, but, even with the added weight, the gun feels nicely balanced on the hand. Well worth the pruchase.

Backstrap
I really like my elite SC, after I bought it I wanted to tweak it a little bit to make it a little bit better for me personally. After adding a threaded barrel, I added a backstrap to the polymer frame to balance the weight some. It does the job well.

Canik weighted backstrap
Really helps to stabilize recoil and muzzle flip as well as filling the void between the mag plate and grip. One other bonus, AFAIK there is no magwell for the Canik TP9 Elite SC, this backstrap creates a guide to quickly insert a magazine.
