Better traction, more weight, and two magwell mounting points make this aluminum backstrap a great "middleweight" option. While this option only adds about one ounce, weight and felt recoil are directly related. By adding weight the gun calms down, creating a smoother-shooting, softer-kicking, more-neutrally-balanced handgun.
- machined from 6061 aluminum
- High-traction checkered surface (better control)
- built-in mount for magwell (both the factory magwell, and TF version)
- lowers the center of gravity (less top-heavy)
- Grip size similar to the Canik "Small"

Canik Mete Red aluminum backstrap
This item is working just as I expected it to. It matches the red Slice cover plate I have. Love the way it feels in the hand..The texture is not too aggressive. A MUST by for any Canik Mete/Rival owner.

Adds a little weight, but not more than IDPA would allow. Looks great, feels great!!! went on perfectly :)
