Solid brass "backstrap" grip panel for the Canik TP9SF Elite/Elite Combat/Elite Executive and Mete SF (compact).

Weight and felt recoil are directly related, so by adding weight, our metal backstraps calm the gun down, creating a smoother-shooting, softer-kicking, more-neutrally-balanced handgun. Adding weight to the frame also reduces the tendency toward "weak wrist" malfunctions common to all polymer frame handguns.
This manifests itself most often when shooting weak-hand-only. Extra mass gives the frame a greater resistance to being pushed rearward in recoil -- helping ensure reliable cycling when the shooter can't supply full resistance due to weakness, poor form, or a too-low grip. The metal backstrap concept descends directly from our famous "Seattle Slug" magazine guide, which adds 3.5 ounces of weight to the Gen. 2/3 Glock 17. That concept worked so well, it was eventually banned BY NAME in both USPSA and IDPA.

Pistol was somewhat top heavy. Bought this back strap to lessen that problem. Was really happy with the overall quality and look of the pistol handle now, gone is that sharp edge, and gap of original grip design, and the top heavy problem has disappeared. too. Great job T L

Excellent upgrade
The TF grip panel is a great addition to the Canik Elite Combat. The fit is perfect and the extra weight of the brass helps add a nice balance to the firearm. The texturing adds a little more traction to the grip but its not too aggressive for concealed carry. An excellent upgrade. Definitely recommend.

The back strap feels great in hand and balances gun. I like the more aggressive texture . The hole for my combat exec magwell lined up perfectly. I can’t wait to get to the range.

Excellent - As Expected
This product fits perfectly on the Elite and adds the needed weight to the back-end. It refocusing the balance of the pistol and improved my accuracy. Although it adds weight, as intended, it is not awkward and feel natural. It is well worth the cost and a useful mod for a shooter.
