Built to the specifications of 6-time US National Champion Nils Jonasson, this basepad updates our plus-4s to match the Rival/Mete!
What's new?
- Overpenetration issue SOLVED (Higher shoulders prevent the basepad from wedging "too far in" and stopping the slide. On the The Mete and Rival, normal basepads over-penetrate. Sometimes the mag can get wedged "too far in'' and stop the slide.)
- Flattened back stands the mag up for super-quick off-the-table reloads.
- Max 140mm length = +4+ capacity (optimized to max out the USPSA gauge)
- New traction cuts on the sides match the slide cuts on the Rival
- Works with TF *AND* Canik magwells.
IMPORTANT: We built these to race, so they REQUIRE the wide-open magazine well found on the Mete, Rival, and Rival-S! They will not work on earlier Canik models!
IMPORTANT: Check your serial number! This basepad fits most full-size Mete and Rival pistol with serial numbers beginning with a 21, 22, or 23. Canik changed the magwell shape in 2023, so some 23- guns and all 24- (and above) guns need the “Signature” or original models instead. (Otherwise the magazine won't lock into place easily.)

Great fit on Rival 18 mags in MC9 Prime
I bought one of these to try on a rival mag I had laying around to see how it would fit on my MC9 Prime. The higher shoulder does a great job of coming close enough to the magwell to look clean and intentional. The notch at the back, while it doesn’t fit with the profile the best, doesn’t look too out of place and will provide a good handhold if I ever need to pry a magazine out. 10/10 no notes.

Easy to install online instructions. Well made product that locks in place with positive click. Added weight makes for fast mag change.

Canik Basepad+4
I found this to be very well made. It installed easily. What I really liked was the fact it appears you bead blasted the unit before anodizing it. That made it match the mag well and the other gold trim much better. The mag held a full 22 rounds when it was installed and the spring from the magazine worked. I'd definitely recommend this;

Fixed all my issues
Using the Nils +4 mag extensions remedied over-insertion issues with my Rival-S along with some minor design changes over their signature series resulting in a more usable mag extension. Happy customer.
