Our Walther Competition basepads have been a huge hit, so we decided to make a “heavyweight” version out of solid brass!
Since we were going for maximum weight, we did away with the weight-relieving cuts that keep the aluminum PPQ Competition down to one ounce. (The one-ounce rule comes from IDPA and its “Stock Service Pistol” division requirements.)
Not only is brass three times heavier than aluminum by volume, there’s significantly more of it in the same space. The result is a trim but HEAVY four-ounce-plus basepad that’s ideal for shooters in low-cap regimes (California, Canada, New York, Hawaii. . .)

Excellent Basepad
Got these to add weight and use in USPSA Production. They are absolutely fantastic. Everyone comments how heavy they are. You cannot go wrong for the price. They are quite shiny and I was able to achieve an antiqued look with the following process: clean with alcohol, apply brass black, let dry about 60 seconds, buff with 0000 steel wool and oil, then repeat until desired color is achieved. Overall I really love these, and TF stands 100% behind their product, they are fantastic!

Brass Baseplate
Excellent weight, and sticks out of the brass magwell just enough that it looks good. I was afraid that with it being a plus 0 that it would disappear in the magwell, but it doesn't and I love it. Easy installation also.

Brass Base Plates
I went with the plus zero brass base plates due to my states capacity law. I was afraid that the plus zero would disappear into the magwell. Well, to my pleasant surprise, they don't. Excellent weight and size.

PPQ M1 feel
1. Great fit 2. Really makes the pistol feel balanced 3. Should make it black color, I sprayed it matte black. 4. Used in conjunction with brass backstrap which btw is black. 5. Total weight added is 8 oz. at the grip.

I had to send this item back because it did not fit my PPQ M2 Magazine for my Q4.
Since I had to return this item because it was the wrong item. It would be nice to know why it did not fit and it it is the incorrect item I would like to purchase the correct one.
