    Product Description

    Stabilize your Walther PPQ/PDP Compact!

    Adding a metallic backstrap adds weight to the lower part of the frame. That weight counteracts the "top-heavy" feel of polymer autos, and calms perceived recoil. In our experience metal backstraps improve the "feel" of the gun -- especially when speed reloading. That might sound counter-intuitive, but a polymer gun with a metal backstrap rolls sideways slower and more predictably -- and doesn't feel like it's trying to fall out of your hand.

    • CNC Machined from bar stock
    • Works with TF magwells (possibly Walther ones as well)
    • Works on the polymer frame Walther PPQ (full size) and the Walther PDP Compact - High-traction checkering stabilizes the gun in your hand
    • Adds 2.5 ounces over stock in brass, .8 ounce in aluminum
    • Fancy colors available!

      With the addition Brass backstrap weight it helps with perceived recoil of my Walther PDP and would by another one.

      Just returned from the range, first time shooting with the backstrap installed. What a difference. I was thinking of going to the PDP and selling my PPQ... not now. The muzzle flip/recoil has not only been tamed but I've got very tight groups with the factory sights. It feels like a whole different pistol. I have a Sig P320, with custom slide, grip and red dot... the PPQ now shoots better and feels better. Thinking this will be my winter EDC; can't wait to get back to the range.

      A perfect compliment to the PPQ. This add just the rite amount of weight to help the balance. Easy to install. Looks and feel’s great too.

      Got the brass backstrap for my 4” PDP Compact, great product and helps balance out the pistol when running WML. Pucked up another brass backstrap, this time in black for my 5” PDP Compact.

      1. Great fit. 2. Used in conjunction with magazine base plate weight. Also brass. 3. Pistol feels more balanced.
