Totally new, the HK VP 9/40 version of our "Overdrive" magwell optimizes what you want in a competition-style magazine funnel:
- Legal for all the pistol games that allow magwells (1 5/8" wide at widest point)
- Milled from 6061 aluminum billet
- Accepts factory magazines as well as TF +5 and +0 extensions.
- Textured for "grippiness" where you want it, smooth where you don't
- Maximized funnel area
- Available in bright aluminum, black-, or red-anodize
- Works with the small and medium backstrap. Large backstrap will require fitting.
- Low cost versus steel!

Love the magwell
This magwell is fantastic, really easy to have quick reloads, only thing is I wish I got the brass one.

VP9 magwell
Very nice fit for my 5.5" hands. If you encounter mag drop problems after installation, shave inside rear of GRIP magwell outer lip just a bit for free drop of mags. Use dremel or small file. It doesn't take much.

Not a good magwell for HK VP9
Does not function as a magwell. It’s simply a band that fits around the outside of the pistol’s magwell. Does not taper into the sides or front of the pistols grip, leaving ledges for the magazine to catch on. No magwell is better than a “magwell” like this. Maybe it’s too hard to make one that fits a HK, but other magwellls I have on other pistols work as they should. I’m disappointed that I’ve spent money on this.

Mag well VP9
Easy install For the larger back strap I had to shave a small portion of plastic off the back strap and it’s fit perfect .Total install time 10min Pistol feels more secure in hand Great product and design

Great magwell
I tried a different manufacturer first but that Magwell sucked. I did some searching and found Taylor Freelance. Theirs is way better. It’s a little big. I shoot IDPA but it JUST fits in the box. Great quality. Great fit. Great look. Performs great. Definitely recommend

VP9 Magwell
I have other magwells S&W and Canik but on the VP9 it took a little fitting on the hook that attaches to the roll pin ,a small round file did the trick,perfect fit bad ass product.

Would not fit !
Would not fit on the large blackstrap , had to grind the back side about 1/8 of an inch. It fits medium and small backstrap no problem. Looks good, feels good.

The HK VP9/40 Magwell
The magwell installed easily, fits nice, the large capacity factory mags fit nicely & the magwell gives myself a better grip due to my large hands. Looks great too! Great product!
