NOTE: Because of a combination of factors, we build our basepads slightly "short" for best reliability. As a result, they will run properly with ammunition loaded to 1.125" overall or less. That's a typical length for 115- and 124-grain loads, but some (notably, Winchester 115 RN) will go out all the way to 1.160".

HINT: If your extension will take 35 rounds and then becomes unreliable (or sticks), check the length of your ammunition! Question? Give us a call and we can explain.

Goliath 20 round extension

This is the ultimate extension for competition shooting. It is 100% reliable in my AR9 PCC. I had been using TT extensions but they never ran 100% ,which is unacceptable in USPSA competition. The Taylor Freelance Goliath extension is the gold standard!

Goliath plus 20 basepad for glock

Nice piece, looks awesome, quality is good, went together easy!! It did have some weird smudges on the front ridged section almost like it had been sanded on. Overall good piece a little spendy but hey that’s just a sign of the times!! Thanks Taylor Freelance!!! I’m excited to try it out!!!

Goliath Plus 20

I did some research and the Goliath, It had great reviews. I purchased the Plus 20. It was an easy install. I installed it on a Glock 31 round magazine. As I went to load the rounds, I couldn't load more than 33 rounds in it. The Based pads interior is not large enough to allow the rounds down inside the Basepad. The inside spacing is too tight and the rounds bind up and get stuck. It was suppose to allow the addition of 20 more rounds but could only load 2 more than before I add the Goliath 20. Unless the rounds that you are using are really short (the overall cartridge length) This Magazine extender does not work with 124gr or 147gr Rounds. They should have tested this or told me this before I ordered a 20 round magazine extender that only allows the addition of 2 more rounds! RESPONSE: Ryan, give us a call. There's something wrong with your setup -- should be an easy fix.

The only extension I trust

I’ve used several of my friends big stick mags. This one is the only one that functions consistently. You do have to dremel down the back of the Glock mag a bit to get the follower to move smoothly through the transition, but once done correctly there are zero issues. Highly recommended.

Love the product. Glad to have the extra round count. Product was easy to install on Glock 33 9mm mag. Hardest part of installation is getting the factory +2 basepad off the original Glock 33 rd mag.
