Taylor Freelance's new +4 for the PPQ .45 extends your mags out to the maximum allowed in USPSA Limited -- giving you 16+1 instead of the stock 12. That's a MASSIVE advantage in any context. Works with the factory spring (saving money!), and the quick-release locking plate gives a balance of retention and easy cleaning. For those of you familiar with our +6 for the Walther PPQ, this is similar, but sized for the .45.

Not as advertised
Only a +2 ! Close to impossible to unassemble, but I did and left out the stock licking plate. Was able to get a third in, but it wouldn't lock into my PPQ with it. Took the third out, and was able to get it to lock in, but it's still only a +2, no +4 as advertised. Don't waist your money. Bought 2 others (1 for my 9mm, the other for my .40) - not sure I want to chance it; might just return them instead). -- RESPONSE -- Matt, I wish you had contacted us before tee-ing off on us. Sounds like you might have one of the older models which had a tendency to catch an edge on the way down into the basepad.
