Product Description
Stabilize your full-size Walther PDP!
Adding a brass backstrap adds weight to the lower part of the frame. That weight counteracts the "top-heavy" feel of polymer autos, and calms perceived recoil. In our experience heavy backstraps also improve the "feel" of the gun -- especially when speed reloading.
The pistol rolls into position smoother and more predictably -- and doesn't feel like it's trying to flip out of your hand.
- CNC Machined from bar stock
- Works with TF and Walther Magwells
- High-traction checkering stabilizes the gun in your hand
- Adds 3+ ounces over stock
NOTE: IDPA shooters should read their rules carefully. IDPA shooters will likely be able to use the aluminum variant only due to IDPA's past restrictions on "brass grips."
Weight: 3.75 ounces
Material: Brass
Color: Black

Fantastic part
The machining, fit and finish on this backstrap is amazing. I have been buying TF parts for over 10 years and I continue to to be impressed with not just the quality of the parts but also with the customer service they provide. I highly recommend TF.

Walther PDP SD Pro 5.1 - Brass Backstrap Black
This was a perfect addition to my PDP Pro SD. It added the right amount of weight to the lower frame ares to counter balance the weight of the slide and barrel. Gun just feels more balanced. Installation is straightforward. Knock out the pin with a 5/32 punch. I would recommend putting a touch of lubricant in the prong holes of the brass backstrap as the pin is a tight fit going through the holes.
