Product Description
Convert your Glock 22 to an extended-barrel racegun with our Glock sight block. Designed to run with the Lone Wolf threaded barrel for the Glock 35, the sight block instantly gives your standard Glock 22 the sight radius of the famed 6" Glock 24!
This is NOT a recoil compensator. Although the slide assembly is as long as a 6" Glock 24, it weighs considerably less -- approximating the 5" Glock 35. That gives you the faster "feel" of the G35, but with a low-motion front sight unlike any other Glock. Your front sight mounts directly to the barrel instead of the slide, so it moves only a fraction of an inch in recoil. That makes the front sight easier to track, and since the front sight isn't slapping all the way back and forth, sights experience less pounding, leading to longer fiber-optic life. You'll want some thread-locking compound for the front sight screw (don't use crimped sights, they will damage the aluminum sight block). You'll want a little more for the set screw, and a little for the barrel threads themselves. We suggest the "adjustable" sort, since you will want to take the sight block off eventually to service the front sight. Short of that, we suggest leaving the sight block on semi-permanently. How Do I Clean It? Sliding the barrel forward exposes the chamber area for easy back-to-front cleaning. Does It Work With A Gen 4? You'll need to change out your current recoil spring system to a Gen-3 style guide rod and spring. This is both easy, and inexpensive. People do this all the time in order to be able to use different recoil spring weights. (Not possible on the Gen 4's telescopic system.) Last I looked Carver Custom and Jaeger Products both offer a bushing to convert Gen 4's to the Gen 3 style.

Sight Block
I am thrilled to have my sight block and wonder why I waited so long. Makes follow up sight acquisition so much quicker for me! I will be getting one for a 9mm as well. Robert

Taylor Freelance sight block
Made tracking front sight easier. Weaker loaded ammo will jam. Would definitely recommend this for competition shooting

Glock 40 Sight Block
This Sight Block with a Lone Wolf barrel really allows me to track the sight better than having the sight on the frame. Follow-up shots are noticeably quicker and the longer sight radius makes my gun extremely accurate. I can consistently hit 8-in. plates at 50 yards. I turned a department issue G22 trade-in into a real competitive gun for Limited Division. I added a frame weight as well. I prefer this set-up to my G35 now. I gave this a try and I am very happy with it!!!

Glock 40 Sight Block
This intrigued me. I had to try it. Wow! Cool little product! Now instead of a G22 police trade in sitting in the safe, I have a new Uspsa Limited gun and fun to shoot. Glad I bought it.
