Designed for USPSA's demanding "Limited Division" our 140mm provides +5 rounds of .40, +6 rounds of 9mm, with rock-solid retention and security. This heavy brass version adds 3.8 ounces of weight, offering both recoil control AND added capacity. Ships with extended spiring. Additional springs are available under "springs and misc."

Great counterweight
I love having that extra quarter pound down below the grip. It makes a great recoil counterweight. I also appreciate the mounting hardware design with the “access door” that slides out of the way with Allen screws. Much easier than many other ways to do it I’ve had to deal with.

WEIGHT is TOO LOW for PRICE PAID
Mine only weighs 3.835 ounces. Also the plate on the back is black and not brass, I don't think it looks as good. Description says it should be "about 5 ounces", well this is pretty far off to me. I need that extra 1.2 ounce. It's difficult to weigh down an M&P pistol for USPSA. Weight should be far closer to "about 5 ounces". I was going to order two more of these if the first one came was actually "about 5 ounces". Sadly it is not. -- RESPONSE -- Thanks for catching that Pedro! We fixed the text so it's accurate now.

M&P Brass Pads
These worked great no fitting required. 22 rounds out of the package, I shaved 1/16” from the bottom of the followers and easily run 23.

I have ordered these for another gun previously and they work great. I have no doubt these will work as well. As a machinist the quality is awesome. Nice fit and finish as it should be. HIGHLY recommend.

The additional weight of these helps with control for follow-up/2nd shots, and also makes them drop quicker and more reliably when reloading.

Brass basebad vs Aluminum
The packing, shipping and delivery was fast! The fit and finish of these basepads is beautiful. I purchased one of each to determine which I would prefer. I could 'feel' the extra weight of the brass--but just barely. I notice more when I have a full mag vs a half empty one. I'll probably pick a color and upgrade the rest with Aluminum...

The best
I switched to these from another very known companies mag extensions and while those worked fine these are just a few steps better. easy installation and the extra weight just makes them that much better. That fall outta the gun quickly and are easy to shove into the gun. If you’re debating picking them up, just do it. I wish I would of got them sooner!

Great Basepad for my S&W M&P 9mm
I purchased this basepad for my M&P 9mm 1.0 and it works GREAT. I also use it with my Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Gen 2. It adds some weight to my handgun, but combined with the Carver Custom Tactical Magwell and Agency Arms 118 Compensator, felt recoil is almost none. Made my handgun a very smooth shooter. Shipping was fast and customer service was great. Thanks for a great product.
