Product Description
Made here in our TF machine shop, the Mirzon P365 backstrap offers a deeper and "curvier" palm swell, reminiscent of a CZ-75.
We manufacture this part under contract for MIrzon, but we liked it so well that we worked out a deal with Iurie Mirzon to sell it direct to the customer.
Why add a heavy backstrap?
Adding a heavy backstrap to the diminutive SIG 365 Macro re-sets the balance lower, and does a lot to calm the gun down in recoil. SIG 365s are among the more-controllable micro 9s, but adding a TF-built backstrap "makes the gun." For the cost of a few extra ounces on your belt, you get a much better-behaved, easier-to-work-with sidearm.
Simple physics will tell you that a heavier frame recoils slower than a lighter one (so recoil feels less "sharp"), but physics can't easily describe the change in "feel" created by the lower center of gravity.
For us, there's no question: brass is superior.
Weight: 3.22 ounces

This Backstap is the BEST!!!
I purchased this backstrap hoping it would add weight and help the P365 XMacro grip module fill my hand better. I have several different grip modules for various P365 builds (a number Wilson Combat ones which were previously my favorites, several factory including standard P365, P365X/XL, and XMacro, and a Tyrant XMacro). I've also tried out the very nice but expensive Icarus aluminum grip module. Adding this Mizron by Taylor Freelance to my XMacro factory grip makes this the BEST feeling P365 grip I've tried. This is such a good investment, that I'm buying a second one for my other factory grip module. For reference, I wear XL sized gloved. I found the factory "medium" backstrap much too short and the factory "large" backstrap a little too short. I also tried the regular Taylor Freelance brass backstrap - it is equivilant in size to the large factory backstrap. I think it's much better than the factory backstrap (and if I wore L sized gloves or smaller, I might like the regular one better), but this Mizron one they make works even better for me.

Nice addition to offset the 365X Macros top heaviness
Shoots nice! Shifts the CG more into my palm and reduces the muzzle rise so follow-up shots are quicker. All in all adds some nice heft and feel in hand but doesn’t really affect concealed carry.
