Product Description
We added a touch of length below the frame and replaced the “cutaway’ grip profile of the Canik SC backstrap with a curving, extended butt. Shooting the SC becomes more comfortable, more natural feeling, and the extra contact area adds control. The built-in mag guide centers your magazine automatically and holds your palm clear of the magwell edges, reducing the tendency to pinch your hand during the reload. Every available space in the backstrap is filled with solid metal (aluminum or brass).
The backstrap adds more than 3.65 ounces in brass, 1.05 ounces in aluminum – dramatically changing the balance of the gun. With either metal, the gun feels calmer and more “neutrally” balanced. That neutral feel (for us) makes the gun easier to draw, easier to handle, and easier to reload. During the draw the smooth butt lets your hand slide into place easily, getting you into a proper firing grip before you clear leather. Once you grip the gun, the checkering along the waist of the backstrap grips you back, locking the gun to your hand.

CANIK SC (SUB-COMPACT) BACKSTRAP BRASS
My Canik TP9 Elite SC with light, red dot and the brass backstrap is now 30+ ounces, way more balanced and more comfortable. I haven't yet shot it to see if the recoil has been mitigated at all, but I can't wait. PS there is just a cool factor added having the brass backstrap on your gun.

Great addition to my canik tp9 elite sc! The weight balances out the pistol and has slight bevel to ease magazine insertion, get out if you haven't!

Brass backstrap (i got a black one but its ok i like it)
Love it. Def changes the balance of the gun from being top heavy and kinda wobbly to not. Worth the price for sure. With my 15rder in im at 2.4lbs w/o optic. Paint job is good too.

This back strap is fantastic. I love the feeling of the added weight it gives to the gun, which also helps with recoil, and adds a more balanced feeling in my hand for a really pleasurable shooting experience. I think the way it looks speaks for itself but I personally love it!
