Product Description
The TF Mete/Rival magwell expands on the already-generous magwell built into the full-size Mete frame. The result is a big, smooth funnel that works so well, some say it is like "loading into a vacuum cleaner!" Works great with Taylor Freelance +0, +4, and +9 basepads -- and with the factory 20-round magazine. NO MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED!
- Great ergonomics for better grip, faster reloads
- More comfortable than factory magwell (especially for men with wide hands)
- Works with factory basepads -- NO FITTING NEEDED!
- Easy on/off - Complies with IDPA "ESP" regulations (aluminum model only)
- USPSA Legal in Open, Limited divisions -
Requires TF metal backstrap
Weight: .65 ounces
Material: Aluminum
Color: Cerakote Tungsten
NOTE: Factory 18-round mags also fit, but they disappear up inside the funnel, making them hard to seat, and hard to remove if they get stuck. We recommend the +4 basepad for best service.
NOTE: Due to state department restrictions we cannot ship this part internationally.

Customer Service
When I realized Taylor Freelance was local to where I live, I called and asked if they were available for in person sales. Robin said they are and invited me to come to their facility. I just wanted to see the Canik backstraps in real life so I could make a choice on color. Robin went the extra mile (more like 10 miles) and showed me several styles, colors and even installed them on my Rival and MC9 so I could not only see how they looked but also how they felt on each gun. Not surprisingly, both look and feel were fantastic! Robin then asked if I had a few minutes and took me into the manufacturing area where the products are made. I was blown away by the sophistication of the operation! He easily spent 45 minutes to an hour with me, telling me how he got started and "talking shop". I only bought $160 worth of product, but he treated me like I was a customer buying thousands of dollars worth of stuff. Needless to say, Robin and the Taylor Freelance crew have a new fan and a new customer. Now I guess I just need to buy a few more guns so I can upgrade with Taylor Freelance products!
