Our "Bling" floorplates are mostly decoration, but this brass one adds maximum attitude and a little function as well. CNC machined from brass bar, these little plates add .9 ounces to the magazine's weight -- helping keep your lightweight Glock mags from getting hung up inside the magazine well thanks to debris, burrs, etc.
They're shiny gold in color throughout, making your mags obviously something special. We built this floorplate with IDPA in mind, where a little extra weight on the floorplate would be nice (better mag drop, some weight to absorb recoil/lower the balance point), but the rules restrict you to "no more than one ounce." It's a direct replacement for the factory floorplate, which makes it compliant with the USPSA Production rules, including the older version of the rules that required you to adhere to the "factory profile."

Good Product
I wanted a little extra weight on my mag floorplate but didn't want it to be huge like some of the aluminum ones out there. This fit the bill. I also wanted it to look factory so I used some Birchwood Casey Brass Black to oxidize mine. They look pretty good and I'm very happy with the result. I plan to order more when they're back in stock. I think the only way they could be any better is if they had the Glock logo to look completely factory but I know there are licensing issues with that. I would gladly pay $5 a piece more for no logo on the bottom.

Great fit and finish.
Only change would be the design of the etching on the bottom. A few more options and not just a brand stamp would be excellent. But for price and quality it’s 5 stars easy.
