We tweaked our popular 170mm "+8" extension for 40 S&W, giving you a chance to load up to TEN additional rounds! That 25+1! We've also re-profiled the interior to better accommodate the new "chisel-point" followers.
Details matter, so depending on which combination of mag tube/follower you're using, results vary between +9 and +10. This extension can be used on a 22-round magazine, but requires a special spring -- if you'd like to go that route, please say so when you order. Ships with a custom-made Wolff spring.

Bought these to shoot USPSA open. They work well, I can only get +9 in mine. Also they do not work if you load any longer than 1.125”. Aside from that they have been flawless. The 1 round I’m missing would be awesome in some stages. But not a huge complaint given the variations in followers you come across. I did file the back bottom of my followers and the top chisel away into a rounded shape to get them to function correctly and reliably. After filing those two spots away and keeping OAL to 1.125” I’ve had no malfunctions at all. Would recommend to any 40 open shooter. I do wish I got the advertised +10.
