Make your Walther PPQ into a 3-Gun-Competitive machine!
Taylor Freelance's new +6 for the PPQ extends your mags out to the maximum allowed in 3-Gun and USPSA Limited -- giving you 21+1 instead of the stock 15. If you shoot a .40, our extension gives you +4+ to +5, for 16 or 17+1.
The brass adds weight to the gun and allows for cleaner magazine release.
Custom Wolff springs add feed power for reliability, and the recently-upgraded quick-release locking plate gives a balance of retention and easy cleaning
For those of you familiar with our +5 for the HK P30/VP9, this is a similar, but longer part.
Works best with the Taylor Freelance magwell! (The stock magwell that ships on the PPQ SF Pro will not accept these basepads.)
NOTE: Not for use on 18 round magazines. May result in damage to ejector.

I added the +6 brass base plate and a brass backstrap. With a holsun red dot, laser/light combo, and the other items, my compact walther with 5 inch barrel sits at 40 ounces unloaded. It handles great! The mags function perfectly. I did have to take it apart one more time after I put it together. It was my own mistake. It worked perfectly fine after that.
+6 is always a plus. It is solid and easy to install.
Easy to install and they run flawlessly! I coupled these with the brass backstrap on my PDP and the extra weight and stability has improved my speed and accuracy on follow-up shots. Thanks Taylor!
These base plates are flawless! Only thing to make them better is if they were free!
I ordered these to add additional weight to run my Q5 SF closer to the 59oz weight and they look and feel great. I run these along with a Grams +2 kit giving me a total of 23+1 rounds. In case on anyone is wondering... Thea base pads, along with Brass LOK grips, SRO, and a Q5 SF... puts you at just under 56oz... it’s killer combination!
The only mag extensions I will run.
I'm very happy with the +6's on my Q5SF. I think the brass one will be perfect for the Wife's new Q4SF because it adds about 3.5oz to the assembled mag and should hepl to dampen recoil even more.
I was hesitant to order the brass mag extension.....though maybe it was too much bling....but wow, does it look terrific! Very solid construction too!
