NEW LOW-PROFILE DESIGN!
Originally built at the behest of SIG's semi-pro shooter Erik Lund, our SIG 226/X5 floorplate brings your mag capacity out to the maximum allowed in USPSA's Limited division. This system uses your factory magazine spring and follower, just replace the floorplate and locking system with ours, and you're good to go! We recently re-designed this part around a suggestion from Mike Gallion, a sponsored shooter who works with High Standard and www.gunup.com
If you look closely at the pictures, the retention screw comes up from THE BOTTOM, where one can put a decent-size head on the screw. Since this grew out of Mr. Gallion's suggestion (over dinner one night), we call this the "G-Post" retention system.
WARNING: Does not fit into SIG X5's with the factory magwell - not without a lot of grinding at any rate!

Does what it says on the tin
23 rounds are good, but brilliant for a USPSA match. TF is my go to place for mag extensions, products are excellent and customer service is also very good.

For USPSA
Highly recommend this over other brands for the 226. Fits one more round and is better made. Locking screws on ither brands will not hold up. If using this for USPSA purposes. Use a 17rnd mecgar magazine body to fit 141.25mm mag Guage.

Sig 226 +5 extension
Extension fit several different Sig mags I have. It fits the Mec-Gar 18 round P226 mags, which is what I had hoped it would. Giving me 23 rounds for my night stand mag. It also fit factory Sig P226 9mm mags and even a factory P229 13 round mag. It does not fit my P229-1 mags. Great product for adding extra rounds to P226 mags.
